Welcome to ThinkYet. By accessing, registering, or using any part of the ThinkYet platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility#

By using ThinkYet, you enter into a legally binding agreement governed by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, you must cease using the platform immediately.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to create an account and interact on ThinkYet.

You warrant that you possess the full legal capacity to enter into these binding terms.

2. Content Ownership & Platform License#

Your Ownership: You retain full intellectual property ownership of all original posts, arguments, text, and media you submit to ThinkYet.

License to Operate: By posting public content, you grant ThinkYet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, reformat, and distribute your content solely for operating, promoting, and improving the service.

Content Representation: You guarantee that your submissions do not infringe on any third party's copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights.

3. YES / NO Debates & Discussion Standards#

ThinkYet's core mission is fostering dialectic reasoning and constructive disagreement. The YES/NO structure organizes perspectives into clear, opposing viewpoints:

Genuine Stance: Each account may hold only one stance at a time per debate post. Coordinated multi-accounting or automated ballot stuffing is strictly banned.

Evolving Views: We celebrate intellectual flexibility. You may change your stance from YES to NO (or vice versa) whenever presented with compelling new evidence.

Reasoned Contributions: We encourage providing a clear rationale with supporting arguments rather than asserting unfounded claims.

4. Prohibited Conduct#

To preserve a safe, constructive forum, the following behaviors are strictly barred:

Hate Speech & Abuse: Content promoting violence, racism, discrimination, religious intolerance, or targeting individuals with slurs or dehumanizing language.

Harassment & Doxxing: Stalking, intimidation, making threats of harm, or exposing private personal information without explicit consent.

Deception & Scams: Deliberately broadcasting fraudulent financial schemes, harmful falsehoods, phishing links, or malware.

Technical Exploits: Unauthorized web scraping, automated voting bots, denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, vulnerability exploitation, or account brokerage.

5. Account Security & User Responsibility#

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials and devices used to access ThinkYet. All actions conducted under your account are attributed to you.

Do not share or transfer your account credentials without written authorization from ThinkYet.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please notify our support team immediately.

6. Community Guidelines & Respectful Discourse#

Disagreement is the heartbeat of ThinkYet. However, challenging another perspective must always remain distinct from attacking the individual holding it.

Focus your critiques on ideas, data, and logic. The best debates are those in which both participants walk away with refined perspectives.

7. Content Moderation & Enforcement Actions#

ThinkYet combines community reports, automated safety heuristics, and human oversight to maintain platform integrity.

When violations occur, ThinkYet reserves the right to:

Issue direct warnings or formal notices.

Hide or permanently remove offending content.

Temporarily suspend posting and voting privileges.

Terminate accounts permanently for egregious or repeated offenses.

Appeals: If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal via our Help Center.

8. ThinkYet Intellectual Property#

The ThinkYet brand name, globe insignia, user interface design, source code, debate visualization graphs, and associated assets are the exclusive intellectual property of ThinkYet.

You may not duplicate, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit platform assets without prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Integrations & Services#

ThinkYet integrates with reputable third-party service providers (such as Google OAuth for authentication and Lovable Cloud for hosting).

Your use of these integrations is additionally governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for independent outages outside our direct operational control.

10. Limitation of Liability & As-Is Warranty#

The platform is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis without implied warranties of merchantability, uptime, or absolute accuracy of user-submitted content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkYet shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.

11. Termination & Severability#

You may discontinue using ThinkYet and request account termination at any time without penalty.

ThinkYet reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms or poses a security threat.

If any provision of these terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Inquiries#

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Any dispute arising shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be adjudicated by the competent courts of Vietnam.
