Why do so many productivity apps end up making us feel busier without actually getting more done? I've tried Todoist, Notion, and even a custom spreadsheet system, and after a while I always end up spending more time organizing tasks than completing them. Maybe the problem isn't the tools but how we expect an app to fix our focus, or maybe the entire approach of tracking every minute is flawed. Is there a point where digital planning stops being helpful and becomes just another form of procrastination?
