Do screens harm kids or replace healthier activities?
When parents set rules about screen time, I often hear them justify it as protecting kids from addiction. But I've watched my own children learn problem-solving and social skills through multiplayer games, and it makes me wonder—are we confusing correlation with causation? Is it really the screens themselves that harm kids, or is it more about what they're replacing, like sleep or outdoor play? I don't have clear data on this, only my observations, but I'd like to hear from other parents who've seen both sides.
