I've followed my local team through relegation battles and cup runs, and the moments that stuck with me weren't the silverware but the shared chants in the stands. Yet I can't deny that a title or a lucrative transfer deal brings visibility that sustains the club's future. So, should we measure success by results on the pitch or by the intangible culture off it?
