VAR was supposed to fix clear errors, but in the Premier League this season it's overturned more goals for marginal offsides than actual howlers. Just last week, a striker's armpit was offside by 2cm and the goal was chalked off after a four-minute review. Fans pay hundreds for tickets and can't even celebrate properly because they're waiting for the check. I'm all for technology, but when the average delay per match is 90 seconds and fans still feel robbed, maybe we need to rethink how VAR is applied.
