Is solo travel truly better than traveling with a companion?
Traveling solo is often sold as the ultimate form of freedom, but is it really better than traveling with a companion? In my experience, exploring alone means you never have to compromise on what to see or eat, yet the lack of someone to share those sunsets with can make them feel strangely hollow. Sure, you can meet locals or fellow travelers, but those interactions rarely replace the deep conversations you have with a close friend after a long day of sightseeing. Maybe I'm just the social type, but I'd rather wait and travel with my partner than go alone again. What's your take?
