Is therapy speak making relationships healthier or just giving excuses?
Therapy speak has infiltrated everyday conversation to the point where 'boundaries' now justify avoiding any discomfort, and 'trauma' is applied to everyday annoyances. I've seen friends weaponize these terms to shut down legitimate disagreements, which cheapens real psychological concepts. Has this clinical vocabulary actually made our relationships healthier, or just given us a polished excuse for emotional withdrawal?
