Can therapy apps truly replace in-person counseling?
Therapy apps are often marketed as a convenient alternative to in-person counseling, but after using one for three months during a rough patch, I'm convinced they can't replace real sessions. For mild anxiety, maybe they help, but for deep trauma or crisis, you need a human who can read between the lines. Are we overselling digital mental health tools as equal to professional care?
