The assumption that all elderly people are fragile and need constant care is outdated. My 78-year-old neighbor runs marathons, and my grandmother managed her own finances until she passed at 92. Sure, some seniors face health challenges, but treating an entire demographic as uniformly dependent does more harm than good. Shouldn't we focus on individual capability rather than age-based stereotypes?
