Is paying more for sustainable fashion actually worth it?
Sustainable fashion brands often charge double the price of fast fashion, but I've found the quality gap isn't always there—some $30 t-shirts last longer than $90 eco-friendly ones. Is paying a premium for sustainability actually justified, or are we being greenwashed into overspending? I've tested five brands this year, and the cost-per-wear math only works out if the garment survives three years, which many don't. Maybe the real answer is buying less, not greener, but that's harder to market.
