Is sourdough's extra effort worth the taste?
Sourdough bread made with a natural starter is almost always better than bread made with commercial yeast. I've baked both for years and the depth of flavor from a week-long fermented dough is unmatched, plus the crust gets that perfect crackle. But I admit it takes more time and patience, so maybe it's not for everyone. Do you think the extra effort is worth the taste?
