Do soft skills matter more than hard skills for career growth?
Soft skills like communication and teamwork are often listed as essential in job postings, but I've seen hiring managers ignore them completely when a candidate has a strong technical portfolio. In my last project, the most brilliant developer couldn't explain his code to the client, and we lost the contract. Is it fair to say that soft skills matter more than hard skills for career growth, or are they just buzzwords that companies claim to value but rarely measure?
