Is VAR sucking the joy out of soccer?
Soccer's video assistant referee was supposed to eliminate clear errors, but after watching VAR overturn goals for marginal offsides measured in millimeters this season, I'm convinced it's sucking the joy out of the game. The technology delays celebrations, breaks momentum, and often creates more controversy than it solves. Should we rethink how VAR is used, or is removing human error worth the cost to the sport's spontaneity?
