Should youth sports be pay-to-play?
Youth sports have become way too expensive, with travel teams costing thousands of dollars a season and private coaching adding even more. I've seen talented kids from lower-income families drop out because they couldn't afford the fees, while wealthier kids get all the opportunities. The system seems to reward money over actual skill and passion. Should we really accept that youth sports have become a pay-to-play arena, or is that just the natural evolution of competition?
