I watched a French film last night with no subtitles, and even though I understood maybe 10% of it, the visuals and sound carried the whole story. That experience made me question why we obsess over plot clarity when cinema's power often lies in mood and atmosphere. Should we judge films by how well they tell a story, or by how they make us feel, even if we can't fully grasp the narrative?
