Does VAR’s accuracy outweigh its disruption of football’s flow?
Should VAR really be used in football matches? I've watched it overturn clear goals and award penalties that looked soft, but it also catches obvious errors that referees miss. In the Premier League, VAR has reduced clear mistakes from around 8 per season to about 2, yet it disrupts the flow and kills celebration. Do the benefits of accuracy outweigh the cost to the game's emotion and pace?
