My city just raised the minimum wage to $15 an hour, and I've seen small businesses cutting hours or closing altogether. I'm not an economist, but isn't it possible that forcing wages up hurts the very workers it's meant to help? We can't ignore the data from Seattle and other cities that show mixed results.
