Remakes of classic films rarely capture the magic of the originals, and I think we should stop churning them out. The 1998 Godzilla couldn't touch the 1954 original, and the recent The Lion King remake felt hollow despite stunning visuals. Studios lean on nostalgia to guarantee box office returns, but that kills creativity and leaves little room for fresh stories. Why not put that money into new scripts and unknown directors instead?
