Should parents let kids fail to build resilience?
Letting kids fail small tasks without intervention builds resilience, but I've seen parents who never let their children struggle, and those kids fall apart at the smallest setback in school or sports. On the other hand, too much failure early on can crush a child's confidence, especially if they don't have the emotional tools to cope yet. Is it better to let them face natural consequences at age 7, or should parents gradually introduce controlled challenges that are more manageable?
