Should fintech apps face stricter credit promotion regulations?
Fintech apps are constantly pushing credit cards and buy-now-pay-later plans, but I think they're trapping people in debt cycles. A friend of mine just paid off a $3,000 balance only to get a $5,000 limit increase the same week, which feels predatory. Yes, they offer convenience, but the business model thrives on impulse spending. Isn't it time we demanded stricter regulations on these promotions?
