Does remote work truly harm team culture, or are we romanticizing offices?
Remote work has made hiring easier, but I've noticed our team's culture quietly eroding since we went fully distributed in 2023. We save on office costs and attract talent from anywhere, yet casual problem-solving and mentorship have dropped noticeably, especially for junior staff. Is the loss of spontaneous collaboration worth the flexibility, or are we just romanticizing what offices never really provided?
