Range anxiety is overblown for most EV owners once they have a home charger. I drive a Tesla Model 3 and do 95% of my charging overnight in my garage, so the 300-mile EPA rating is just a buffer for road trips. Public fast-charging networks still have reliability gaps in rural areas, no question, but for daily commuting and suburban life the fear of getting stranded feels outdated. Should we really keep treating range as the main barrier to going electric?
