Public cultural institutions and state arts councils should permanently disqualify works generated substantially by generative artificial intelligence from receiving public grant funding. Taxpayer resources intended for cultural development should exclusively support human artistic labor and protect creative vocations against algorithmic automation. However, excluding emergent computational mediums risks arbitrarily stifling contemporary creative experimentation and devaluing innovative human-machine collaborations.
