Nuclear power often gets dismissed because of waste and disaster risks, but after comparing the lifecycle emissions and land use of renewables, I think we're being too hasty. Solar and wind need massive storage and backup, which nuclear doesn't, and modern reactor designs address many safety concerns. Should we seriously reconsider nuclear as a key part of our energy mix rather than treating it as taboo?
