Nuclear power is the only realistic path to decarbonize our grid while keeping lights on 24/7, yet we keep dithering over waste concerns that are technically solvable. I've watched France generate over 70% of its electricity from nuclear for decades without a single fatality from reactor accidents, while German coal plants still pump out CO2 after their hasty phase-out. Yes, Chernobyl and Fukushima scare people, but those were old designs with human error and tsunami freak storms, not the passive safety systems we can build today. If we're serious about climate change, why are we rejecting the one mature technology that can scale fast enough?
