Does religious support enable denial instead of real help?
My grandmother prays daily and credits her faith with surviving cancer, yet I can't shake the doubt that religion sometimes shields people from facing hard truths. I've seen both outcomes, and I'm torn between respecting belief and valuing clear-eyed reason.
