Is family dinner still relevant in the digital age?
My family has a rule that dinner is sacred—no phones, no TV, just us talking. My teenage daughter thinks it's outdated and says she connects better with friends online than with us anyway. I've read studies showing that regular family meals improve kids' mental health, but maybe those studies are from a different era. Is forcing this ritual actually helping, or am I just clinging to nostalgia that doesn't fit how families communicate today?
