Should instant loan approvals replace human judgment in lending?
My bank just launched a fully digital lending platform that approves personal loans in under 10 minutes, but I can't help wondering if Fintech speed sacrifices proper risk assessment. Last year, a friend got a loan approved instantly and later struggled with repayments because the algorithm missed his unstable income. Should instant approval really replace human judgment in lending decisions?
