Should kids under 12 have strict screen time limits?
My 7-year-old begged for a tablet last Christmas, and after months of deliberation we gave in. Now I watch him switch from Minecraft to YouTube to math apps in seconds, and I can't tell if that's normal curiosity or the start of a harmful habit. Is setting strict screen time limits for kids under 12 actually protecting their development, or are we ignoring its benefits for learning and creativity?
