Does linear TV still matter in a streaming world?
Is traditional broadcast television still relevant when streaming services offer more choice and control? I recently switched to a cable-free setup and realized I haven't missed live TV except for sports, but my parents still rely on scheduled programming. Broadcast networks do provide shared cultural moments, like award shows or breaking news, that on-demand can't replicate. Do you think the linear TV model has a future, or is it just a matter of time before it fades for good?
