Live TV is dying, and honestly, I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. I cut the cord two years ago after realizing I paid for 200 channels but watched maybe five, and since then, my viewing habits have become more intentional. Streaming lets me watch what I want when I want, without ads interrupting every scene, and I’ve discovered shows I never would have stumbled upon otherwise. Sure, live sports and news still matter to some people, but for most of us, appointment viewing is just a relic of a pre-internet era. Why cling to a schedule when the content is better on demand?
