Is individual effort enough to reduce plastic waste?
I've been trying to cut down on single-use plastics for months, but I keep running into the same problem: so many everyday items, from takeout containers to snack wrappers, still come wrapped in layers of plastic. I even found a plastic-wrapped cucumber at my local store recently, which felt absurd. Given how much of this waste ends up in oceans and landfills, is individual effort even enough to fix the problem, or do we need stricter government regulations on packaging to make a real difference? I'd love to hear what others think, especially if you've managed to go plastic-free in any meaningful way.
