Is home cooking truly better, or just a privilege?
Cooking at home from scratch saved my family about $4,800 last year, but I'm not convinced it's the better choice for everyone. My sister works two jobs and orders out five nights a week — spending she can barely afford, yet the hours she gets back go to her kids. So: is home cooking genuinely the superior option, or just a privilege dressed up as virtue? I lean yes, but the math depends entirely on what your time is worth.
