Is free will an illusion? I've wrestled with this question since a philosophy course in college, and after years of observing my own impulsive decisions, I lean toward determinism. Neuroscience shows our brains initiate actions before we consciously decide, yet that doesn't fully explain moral responsibility. If our choices are just physics unfolding, can we ever be truly blamed for anything?
