Is City Life Culture Richer or Just Noisier?
I recently moved from Hanoi to a small town in central Vietnam, and the difference in daily rhythm made me question whether city life really offers a richer culture or just more noise. In the countryside, festivals are tied to harvests and ancestor worship, not commercial calendars, and neighbors actually know each other's life stories. But I also miss the art exhibitions, indie music nights, and spontaneous meetups that only a metropolis can sustain. So, is urban culture truly more vibrant, or are we confusing quantity of events with depth of connection?
