Is intermittent fasting sustainable for long-term weight loss?
Intermittent fasting is everywhere these days, but I've seen friends lose weight on it only to regain everything once they stop. Does the science actually support fasting as a sustainable approach to nutrition, or is it just another diet fad that ignores the importance of long-term habits? I tried a 16:8 schedule for two months and felt great at first, but my energy crashed by the afternoon, and I gave up.
