She says she wanted a dog with a predictable temperament because her toddler has allergies, and honestly, that logic makes sense—shelter dogs can be a gamble, and not every family can handle that unpredictability. Yet I've seen too many amazing mixed-breeds get euthanized, and I can't shake the feeling that supporting breeders, even 'responsible' ones, contributes to that cycle. So, is it fair to judge someone for choosing a breeder when they have specific needs, or should we all adopt regardless of the risks?
