Is fintech convenience worth giving up financial privacy?
I've used fintech apps for years, and honestly, they've made my financial life better. But the more I read about data breaches and algorithmic bias, the more I wonder if the convenience is worth the risk. For example, my budgeting app now asks for access to all my transaction history just to suggest a savings plan. That feels invasive, yet I keep using it because it works. Is fintech truly a force for good, or are we trading our privacy for convenience without realizing the long-term costs? I'm genuinely torn on this.
