Does doing less actually make us more productive?
I've tried every productivity system out there—Pomodoro, time blocking, even those fancy Notion dashboards—and what actually moves the needle for me is simply setting one priority per day. Multitasking feels productive in the moment, but my output drops by at least 30% when I split focus between two demanding tasks. The research on task-switching costs is clear, yet we keep glorifying busyness over deep work. Isn't it time we admit that true personal productivity comes from doing less, not more?
