Is unplanned travel better than a detailed itinerary?
I've traveled to 20 countries in the last five years, and I keep noticing how the most memorable experiences come from getting lost, not from the itinerary. Everyone raves about bucket-list destinations, but I think unplanned detours beat any scheduled tourist trap. Yet, how many of us actually book a trip without a detailed plan? Are we missing out by over-scheduling every hour of our vacation? Maybe the best travel is the kind we leave room for spontaneity, not just the checkmarks on a map.
