Does online learning really beat in-person classes?
I've taken three online courses over the past two years, and while the flexibility helped me balance a full-time job, I noticed my retention dropped significantly compared to in-person classes I attended before. A friend of mine just dropped out of a bootcamp because she felt isolated without face-to-face interaction, even though the material was solid. Does the convenience of learning remotely actually outweigh the lack of structure and community, or are we just accepting lower quality for the sake of scheduling?
