Are wood pellet grills worth the extra effort over gas?
I've cooked with both wood pellets and gas for years, and I still think gas grills are easier for weeknight dinners. But last weekend, I tried a brisket low and slow on my neighbor's Traeger, and the bark had a smokiness that no gas tank can replicate. Is the extra time and charcoal management worth it, or are pellet grills just a trendy gadget for people who like to tinker more than they like to eat?
