Should the offside rule be scrapped in youth soccer?
I've coached youth soccer for seven years, and I'm convinced that the offside rule should be scrapped at the amateur level. It slows down the game, confuses parents and young players alike, and often leads to more arguments than goals. Why not let kids play with fewer stoppages and focus on developing skills rather than policing positioning?
