Does fintech genuinely improve financial health?
I've been using fintech apps for budgeting and investing for about four years now, and I'm genuinely torn — do these tools actually make us better with money, or do they just create an illusion of control? My own experience shows I check my portfolio daily and save more consistently, but I also notice I'm making more impulsive trades because everything is so easy. On the other hand, my friend who never uses apps has zero anxiety about money but also zero savings. So what's your take — has fintech genuinely improved your financial health, or is it just giving us a dopamine hit while the real problems stay unsolved?
