Is plant-based eating truly healthier than meat?
I've been trying to eat more plant-based meals lately, but I'm starting to wonder if they're actually healthier than what I used to eat. A vegan burger can still be loaded with sodium and saturated fat, and some meat alternatives are ultra-processed. On the other hand, my cholesterol did drop after swapping out red meat a few days a week. So is plant-based eating truly better for you, or is it just another marketing label?
