Is Bitcoin's resilience proof it's a real store of value?
I've been trading cryptocurrencies since 2017, and I've watched Bitcoin survive multiple 80% crashes only to set new highs each time. For all the talk about crypto being a bubble, the total market cap still sits above a trillion dollars, and more institutional money flows in every year. The real test isn't whether prices fluctuate — that's expected — but whether the underlying technology actually solves a problem that can't be solved cheaper with traditional databases or payment rails. So here's my question: Is Bitcoin's resilience over the past decade proof that it's a legitimate store of value, or just a collective delusion that hasn't popped yet? My honest view is that the network effect and the halving cycles make a total collapse unlikely, but I still keep no more than 5% of my portfolio in crypto because the risk is that real. What do you think — YES or NO to Bitcoin as digital gold?
