Do sleep trackers genuinely improve habits or just cause anxiety?
I've been tracking my sleep with a wearable for six months, and the data shows I average 6.5 hours, which is below the recommended 7-9. I feel fine most days, but I wonder if I'm just used to it. Do you think sleep trackers actually push people to improve their habits, or do they mostly create anxiety about numbers that may not even be accurate? My friend swears her sleep score changed her life, but I'm skeptical about whether the metrics are meaningful for everyone, especially since stress and diet also play a huge role, and we're just seeing one slice.
