Should productivity be measured by time or output quality?
I've been tracking my deep work hours for three months now—around 4 to 5 hours daily, mostly in two-hour morning blocks. But I'm noticing that output quality doesn't always match time spent; some days I crush it in three hours, other days I stare at the screen for six and produce junk. Is time-blocking the right metric for personal productivity, or should we focus more on energy management and output quality? I'm leaning toward the latter, but I want to hear how others measure their effectiveness without falling into the productivity porn trap.
