Are technical skills more important than soft skills?
I've been told my whole career that soft skills like communication and empathy are what really set you apart, but after 10 years in project management, I think technical skills are undervalued. You can be the most charismatic person in the room, but if you can't write code or analyze data, you're not delivering results. The emphasis on soft skills might be overblown, especially in fields where hard outcomes matter more than how you make people feel.
