I've been to over 50 concerts in the last five years, and something keeps bugging me about how we experience music now. People film entire shows on their phones, and I wonder if that changes what a live performance actually means. Does the act of recording everything make you less present, or is it just a natural way to preserve memories? I've caught myself doing it too, but then I realize I watched a three-minute song through a 5-inch screen instead of feeling the bass in my chest. Maybe it's fine if that's how some people connect, but I'm starting to think the best moments happen when you're not trying to capture them.
